Sidrerías (cider house) outside of San Sebastián

SIDRERÍAS / CIDER HOUSES

.- Officially the Basque cider season starts around  January 15th until April/May.

.- Most of the “sidrerías in Astigarraga may be closed until the official season starts. http://www.sidrerias.ws/gipuzkoa/astigarraga

However, there are some cider houses that are open the whole year (except in December). Two of them are:

HOW TO GET TO THESE «SIDRERÍAS»

By bus:

A1 and A2 buses leave from Okendo and you need to get off in «Lizeaga» stop.

The problem of taking the bus is that to come back, you only have at night on Fridays (during cider time) and Saturday night (whole year). See the schedule in the link.

By taxi:

The taxi takes you to the door of the cider. You will have to pay around 15 € one way ride. A maximum of four can share a taxi.
